ITINERARY:
Day: 1 CITY TOUR CUSCO
Cusco eternal city, land of fusion, axis of the world, considered the first center of American integration. The Incas considered it as the imperial city, maintaining its splendor and vitality to this day. This makes Cusco one of the most fascinating destinations in the world.
Description of the service:
The Cusco City Tour is an unforgettable experience that will take you to the Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha, the place where the gods of the conquered countries were welcomed. Then we visit the fortress of Sacsayhuaman with impressive carved rocks and important scenario in the Inti Raymi, visit Qenqo (labyrinth) place where the Inca Pachacutec would have rested, then visit Puka Pukara which was a border lookout point with the Antisuyo road and finally visit Tambomachay temple for the worship of water. Finally we will return to the city culminating in the Plaza de Armas.
Day: 2 MACHUPICCHU FULL DAY
Machu Picchu is considered the philosophical capital of the Incas, it is a sacred place, where life connects with eternity; its beautiful designs are in harmony with the sky, the mountains; and its countless stairways lead to the infinite.
Description of the service:
Our day will start with hotel pick-up and pick-up time will be arranged the day before. We will go to Ollantaytambo station to board the train that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes. On the way you can appreciate beautiful Andean landscapes and jungle views. Then, we take the bus up to the citadel of Machu Picchu to appreciate in all its splendor this architectural wonder, we will be guided for approximately 2 hours and a half. At the end of the tour, we descend by bus to Aguas Calientes and take the train back to Ollantaytambo, then we board the transport that goes to the city of Cusco. The service will end upon arrival in Cusco.
Day: 3 MOUNTAIN OF 7 COLORS
The 7 Colors or Rainbow Mountain is one of the most beautiful natural attractions where you can appreciate the different colors of the mountains and snow-capped mountains like Ausangate. It has a natural coloration due to the presence of sedimentary stones in erosion.
Service Description:
Early we start with the hotel pick up between 4:30am to 5:00am and head to the community of Cusipata to enjoy a delicious breakfast, we continue to the end of the road, where our hike begins. (If you prefer, you can rent horses here). When you reach the top you will be able to appreciate the 7-color mountain in all its splendor. Then we start the return trip to enjoy a delicious lunch, we continue the journey until we reach the city of Cusco.
Day: 4 TRANSFER HOTEL - CUSCO AIRPORT
