Description

One of the most fascinating aspects of the Uros, Amantani, and Taquile tour is the opportunity to visit and learn about the local communities that inhabit each of these islands. On the Uros Islands, you will learn about the lifestyle of the inhabitants who built these floating islands with totora reeds, an aquatic plant found in Lake Titicaca. In Amantani, you can spend the night in a local family house and learn about the town's traditions and customs. In Taquile, you will appreciate local crafts and textiles recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

This two-day, one-night package offers a profound and authentic cultural immersion into the heart of Lake Titicaca. Tailored for travelers seeking to connect with the living roots of the Andes, it combines navigating the world's highest navigable lake with experiential tourism, allowing you to share daily activities, ancestral knowledge, and the unique hospitality of the island communities.
