ITINERARY
Meeting Point and Tour Departure: The circuit begins with a pickup in a comfortable tourist vehicle to start an unforgettable historical journey through the most iconic monuments of the Imperial City of Cusco.
Tour of the Temple of the Sun or Qorikancha: Our first stop is the mystical Qorikancha temple, the foremost religious and astronomical center of the Incas, famous for being the welcoming sanctuary for the deities of conquered nations. Here, we will admire the breathtaking precision of its polished stone walls, over which the Santo Domingo Convent was later erected during colonial rule.
Exploration of the Sacsayhuamán Fortress: We will drive uphill to the outskirts of the city to visit the colossal Sacsayhuamán Fortress. Visitors will marvel at its massive three-tiered megalithic walls, made of stones weighing up to 120 tons fitted together with absolute precision, while enjoying a sweeping panoramic view of Cusco.
Journey into the Qenqo Labyrinth: We continue our route toward the archaeological site of Qenqo. We will explore this fascinating ceremonial center characterized by impressive carved rock formations, hidden chambers, and subterranean galleries where the Incas practiced sacred rituals and mummifications.
