LARCO MUSEUM

The Larco Museum is located in a colonial mansion from the 18th century A.D. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, the Larco Museum's permanent exhibition invites visitors to discover the more than 5,000 years of history of ancient Peru through a fascinating collection of pre-Columbian art. It offers pleasurable, attractive and enriching experiences. The Larco Museum contains the largest private collection of pre-Columbian art in the world; archaeological objects from all the Andean cultures (ceramics, gold, silver, stone, wood, textiles), with special emphasis on the Mochica culture.
