ITINERARY:<\/span><\/p>

Day 1: Sacred Valley - Connection to Aguas Calientes<\/strong><\/p>

  • Hotel pickup:<\/strong> Leaving Cusco, we enter the Sacred Valley of the Incas through the Taray Viewpoint<\/strong>, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the valley.<\/li>
  • Pisaq:<\/strong> We arrive at Pisaq<\/strong>, an Andean town known for its craft market of textiles and ceramics.<\/li>
  • Pisaq Archaeological Park:<\/strong> Next, we head to the Pisaq Archaeological Park<\/strong>, full of terraces and aqueducts built by the Incas.<\/li>
  • Buffet lunch in Urubamba:<\/strong> We continue through the valley to Urubamba<\/strong> to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.<\/li>
  • Ollantaytambo:<\/strong> We arrive at Ollantaytambo<\/strong>, considered a religious and political center of the Inca empire, where the temples, fortresses and Inca town remain intact.<\/li>
  • Train to Aguas Calientes:<\/strong> After visiting Ollantaytambo, we head to the train station to board the train that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes. Along the way you can enjoy beautiful Andean landscapes and views of the jungle.<\/li>
  • Hotel transfer:<\/strong> Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, transfer to your hotel for the night.<\/li><\/ul>

    Day 2: Machu Picchu<\/strong><\/p>

    • Shuttle bus up:<\/strong> In the morning, we board the bus that will take us to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.<\/li>
    • Guided visit:<\/strong> Guided tour through the main sectors of the citadel, learning about its history, architecture and significance within Inca civilization.<\/li>
    • Free time:<\/strong> Free time to explore and take photographs of this UNESCO World Heritage site.<\/li>
    • Return:<\/strong> Descent by bus to Aguas Calientes and boarding of the return train to Ollantaytambo, where transportation back to the city of Cusco will be taken.<\/li><\/ul>
